Fueling your brain with knowledge

Hello patients, clients and friends! I am starting a monthly blog which will also be featured in the Runners Roost Golden newsletter! I will be covering topics related to health and wellness, and you guessed it…running! I decided to call it “Brain Fuel”. Yes, I am trying to be “punny” with a spin on my company name Carbs.

Why “Carbs”?

As some of you already know, my nickname is “Carbs” and is short for Carbiener. I decided to fully embrace it because I view the services I provide like a carbohydrate. Although some people fear carbs, it is your best friend as an athlete. It provides the energy you need to be active! I like to think of my physical therapy skills or training plans, as methods of fueling an individual to do whatever activity they desire to participate in. Hence, my blog is also fuel for your brain. I hope to provide some insight and links to relevant research on topics that affect the modern athlete.
